Rand Godryk Deep Image Pack for NUX MG-50

Rand Godryk is a tone pack inspired by the Randall RGOD preamp pedal. This pack is built on Choptones Deep Images, our captures of the original pedal for the NUX MG-50, paired with Choptones Custom IRs, so you get the genuine voice and feel of the real unit on your device.

How It Sounds

The normal channel (blue) provides a clear, focused drive tone, with the high presence mode adding upper treble attack and clarity. The high gain channel (red) delivers thick, saturated distortion, while the high presence option produces a tighter, sharper response that cuts through directly.

Each preset went through multiple sessions on the actual unit, adjusting mic positions and cab pairings, listening for the difference between a setting that sounds impressive in isolation and one that actually works in a mix. They all sound like the same unit, just from different angles.

What's in the Pack

The Deep Images cover the normal channel (blue) and the high gain channel (red), each captured in standard and high presence configurations. The IRs were captured with a Mesa 4x12 with Eminence Governor speakers, a Marshall 1960 4x12 with Electrovoice EVM speakers, a Marshall 1960 4x12 with Celestion V30, a Marshall 4x12 with Celestion G12M, and two Randall 4x12 cabinets loaded with Randall Jaguar RES-80 speakers, chosen per preset based on what each tone needed.

This pack is made for the NUX MG-50.

10 ready-to-play presets, built on 4 Choptones Deep Images and shaped with 6 Choptones Custom IRs. Load the Deep Images and the IRs on your device, then recall the presets.

Remember to set the gain and general volume knobs at your liking, according to your guitar and pick ups!
