Perfecto Signature Pack for Fractal AM4
Some players spend years chasing a sound. Perfecto has spent a career defining one. This official signature pack captures his real rig, dialed in tone by tone, and drops it straight into the Fractal AM4 so you can plug in and sound like one of the most recognizable guitar voices in modern Filipino rock from the very first note.
Who is Perfecto De Castro
Perfecto "Perf" De Castro is a Filipino guitarist, producer, and content creator based in Los Angeles. A defining figure of the Philippine alternative rock scene, he was an original member of Rivermaya, went on to found the band Triaxis, and has collaborated with artists including the rapper Francis Magalona and the hard rock band Wolfgang. Across three decades he has built a reputation as one of the Philippines’ finest electric guitarists, known for expressive dynamics, razor-sharp technique, and a rhythm-and-lead voice that moves from tight, punchy grooves to singing, articulate solos.
This signature pack is built around the sounds and the setup Perf used on his latest instrumental EP, Spark, a five-track record that blends technical fire with soulful phrasing. Alongside recording and producing, he shares his craft through guitar content and courses, and works with a number of brands in the guitar world, including Victory Amplifiers, REVV, DiMarzio, Sully Guitars, Shabat Guitars, and Curt Mangan Strings.
What is inside
The Perfecto Signature Pack for Fractal AM4 includes 27 presets and 26 Choptones Custom IRs, captured directly from the amps and settings Perfecto uses for his own music. At its heart is an amp based on a Soldano SLO30, taken from pristine cleans all the way to crunchy rhythms and singing leads, sitting alongside the smooth, vocal response of a Dumble clone that shaped so much of his chord and rhythm work.
From there the pack opens up into a rich set of high gain tones based on a Friedman Jose for expressive, articulate solos, the raw low wattage grit of a Fender Bronco tweed, and a handful of dedicated lead voicings, from a fusion inspired lead to a warm Cherry Blossom solo tone. Together they cover the full range Perfecto reaches for, from sparkle to sustain, all ready to play out of the box.
Tones and technology
This is not a set of generic factory patches. Each tone was voiced to reproduce the character, response and balance of Perfecto's actual rig on the AM4, and every preset is paired with a dedicated Choptones Custom IR for studio ready cabinet realism. Load one and it feels finished immediately, on stage, in the studio or straight into your interface.
Who it is for
For players who love Perfecto's phrasing and want his palette under their fingers, for gigging and recording guitarists who need reliable, mix ready tones fast, and for anyone who owns a Fractal AM4 and wants to unlock the kind of professional sound that usually takes years to build.
