The amps inside
Every capture was taken direct from the real amp in our studio. These captures are based on the following:
- Fender '62 Super Amp, a warm tweed voice with a springy, touch sensitive clean that blooms into sweet breakup. Perfect for blues, roots and classic rhythm.
- Fryette Deliverance (Synergy module), tight, aggressive modern high gain that stays clear and punchy under the fastest palm mutes.
- Zuta GBG120, a thick, singing high gain amp with huge sustain and a vocal midrange made for soaring leads.
- '86 Marshall JCM800, the crunch and roar behind countless rock and metal records, open, punchy and dripping with upper mid bite.
The cabinets
Each rig is finished with our own custom cabinet IRs, captured with our studio mic setups so your tone lands mix ready every time. These IRs are based on the following:
- Mesa Boogie Oversized 4x12 loaded with Celestion V30s, mic'd with a Shure SM57. Big, tight low end and a focused high gain punch.
- Bogner 4x12 with a Celestion G12T75 and V30 mix, mic'd with a Sennheiser MD421 and Royer R-121. Wide and aggressive with a smooth, controlled top end.
- Fender Hot Rod DeVille 2x12 with an Eminence Special Design speaker, mic'd with a Sennheiser MD409 and Royer R-121. Open and airy, ideal for cleans and lower gain.
Set the gain and volume to taste, depending on your guitar and pickups, then just play.
