Brit J1P Deep Image Pack for NUX MG-50

Brit J1P is a tone pack inspired by the Marshall JMP-1 preamp. This pack is built on Choptones Deep Images, our captures of the original unit for the NUX MG-50, paired with Choptones Custom IRs, so you get the genuine voice and feel of the real unit on your device.

How It Sounds

Clean channel 1 and clean channel 2 offer direct, balanced cleans ranging from warm rhythm foundations to brighter, open chord responses. Hi gain channel 3 and hi gain channel 4 produce focused saturation with pronounced midrange, moving from solid rock rhythm crunch into thick, sustained lead distortion.

Each preset went through multiple sessions on the actual unit, adjusting mic positions and cab pairings, listening for the difference between a setting that sounds impressive in isolation and one that actually works in a mix. They all sound like the same unit, just from different angles.

What's in the Pack

The Deep Images cover clean channel 1, clean channel 2, hi gain channel 3, and hi gain channel 4. The IRs were captured with three Marshall 1960 4x12 cabinets (two with Celestion V30, one with Celestion V30 and T75), one Marshall 1960 4x12 with Electrovoice EV12 Black Label, and one Mesa 4x12 with Electrovoice EV12 Black Label, chosen per preset based on what each tone needed.

This pack is made for the NUX MG-50.

10 ready-to-play presets, built on 4 Choptones Deep Images and shaped with 5 Choptones Custom IRs. Load the Deep Images and the IRs on your device, then recall the presets.

Remember to set the gain and general volume knobs at your liking, according to your guitar and pick ups!
