Bogna EXT DR Deep Image Pack for NUX MG-50

Bogna EXT DR is a tone pack inspired by the Bogner Ecstasy Red pedal, the stompbox version of the red channel of one of the most celebrated boutique high gain heads, loved for its thick, singing saturation and its studio-ready voice. This pack is built on Choptones Deep Images, our captures of the original pedal for the NUX MG-50, paired with Choptones Custom IRs, so you get the genuine voice and feel of the real unit on your device.

How It Sounds

The red channel is all about rich, harmonically dense drive: big low end, a creamy top and leads that sustain for days without losing note definition. The pedal offers three voicings inspired by different versions of the original head (20th Anniversary, 100 and 101), each with Full, Mellow and Tight modes, so you can go from a loose, open crunch to a tight modern rhythm tone.

Each preset went through multiple sessions on the actual pedal, adjusting mic positions and cab pairings, listening for the difference between a setting that sounds impressive in isolation and one that actually works in a mix. They all sound like the same pedal, just from different angles.

What's in the Pack

The Deep Images cover all nine voicing and mode combinations (20th Anniversary, 100 and 101, each in Full, Mellow and Tight). The IRs were captured with Bogner and Mesa Oversized 4x12 cabinets with Celestion V30, T75 and G12H30 speakers, plus a Marshall 1960 4x12 loaded with Electrovoice Black Label speakers, chosen per preset based on what each tone needed.

This pack is made for the NUX MG-50.

10 ready-to-play presets, built on 9 Choptones Deep Images and shaped with 5 Choptones Custom IRs. Load the Deep Images and the IRs on your device, then recall the presets.

Remember to set the gain and general volume knobs at your liking, according to your guitar and pick ups!
