Based on the hand-built Cornell DC Plexi 45/50, this pack captures the unmistakable spirit of vintage Plexi tone—rich in harmonics, dynamic in feel, and absolutely explosive when pushed.
The DC Plexi 45/50 delivers that raw, unfiltered Marshall-style growl, but with boutique precision and versatility. From singing lead tones and biting British crunch to edge-of-breakup textures and soulful clean sag, the amp responds with a depth and musicality that only a hand-wired amp can provide.
Now, thanks to the Cnel PlexLTD Amp Pack, that authentic British boutique voice is ready for your favorite digital platform. This pack includes 25 expertly profiled patches and 25 matching IRs, crafted across all input combinations—including classic Input I, Input II, and jumpered I+II setups.
We shaped the amp’s character further with an arsenal of top-tier boosts like the Marshall Bluesbreaker, Soldano SLO Overdrive, MXR Berzerker OD, DOD 250 Preamp, Warm Audio Centavo, Rodenberg SL-OD, Marshall Guv’nor, Boss BD-2, and Fortin Grind. These combinations unlock everything from thick bluesy overdrive to tight modern bite.
Cabinets used include Marshall 1960, 1974, 425, 1922, JH, Mesa Boogie, and Cornell’s own 1x12, loaded with Celestion V30, G12M, G12T75, G12C, G12H 70th, and V-Type speakers. We blended microphones like the MD421, e609, SM57, R121, M160, SM7B, and M201 to retain the amp’s lively response and real-world clarity.
